The Gulf Polo Club was established to revive and sustain the noble tradition of polo in the Arabian Peninsula — a sport with deep Ottoman and Persian roots that flourished in the courts of caliphs and kings.

Today, we steward this legacy with modern facilities, international-standard grounds, and a community that honours the code of the field: speed, strategy, and sportsmanship above all else.

Gulf Polo Club was founded by Youssry Henien, a private investor and steward of capital with over two decades of experience across global markets. His approach to polo mirrors his approach to investment: long-term thinking, disciplined execution, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

As the founder and managing partner of Windsor Family Office, Henien has built a reputation for quiet, principled stewardship — managing wealth with the same care and precision required to manage a polo string.

The club reflects his conviction that sport, like investment, is a matter of character, patience, and the willingness to commit to something larger than oneself.

Membership at Gulf Polo Club is by invitation or application, ensuring a community of individuals who share a genuine commitment to the sport and its values.

Our facilities include two international-standard grass fields, professional stabling, a fully equipped clubhouse with dining, and a programme of social and competitive fixtures throughout the season.

Whether you are an experienced player or new to the sport, our academy offers instruction from internationally ranked professionals.

Seasonal fixtures

The Gulf Polo season runs from October through April, with weekly chukkas, monthly tournaments, and a series of social fixtures open to members and their guests.

Opening Cup

The season kicks off with an invitation-only tournament welcoming members and guest teams from across the Middle East.

Winter
Classic

Our flagship tournament of the season. Four teams compete across two weekends for the Winter Classic trophy.
